PHP developer required for 3 month project

php-logoMetanym needs a skilled PHP developer for an exciting project starting soon.

We’re looking for someone with excellent PHP5 skills, encompassing frameworks and templating, APIs and MySQL databases.  Strong knowledge of Ajax, and its use in state-of-the-art user interfaces, is also required.

The project’s initially envisaged timescale is 3 months full-time, although there may be a need for a much longer, possibly permanent involvement.

The position will be based at our offices in the Webmill (Gringley-on-the-Hill, near Gainsborough and Doncaster), although once underway, a significant proportion of remote working will be allowed if required, but you will need to be (reasonably) local.  This is a freelance (sub-contractor) position, at least initially, but if it turns into something more permanent, we can review that.

If you are interested, please let us have your CV, portfolio, etc, and let us know when you could start and what sort of rate you are looking for.
